About
Short
Teleported to the wrong galaxy with two drones that will not stop talking. Dig down through seven planets to get home. An incremental mining adventure with no health, no enemies and no game over. Air is the only clock.
Long
Dust and Drones is a mining game played with a cursor. Every floor is a floating slab of rock cubes. You break them one at a time, and the ore veins inside light up and fly to your tally. Only what you open pays. Fill the meter and a shaft opens in the middle of the floor. Drop through it and the next floor is deeper, harder and richer.
There are seven planets between you and home, five floors each, with a boss at the bottom of every one and a black hole at the end. A dive lasts as long as your air. When it runs out you bank everything and go back to the ship, where you sell the haul, buy tools on the black market, and send the drones to dig a little while you are away. Then you go again, deeper.
Two drones come along. A small one that asks too many questions and a big one that thinks it is in charge. They talk through every dive.
History
Dust and Drones started in 2026 as the mining half of a larger project and became its own game when the digging turned out to be the part worth keeping. It is made by one person in Godot.
